HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!!!!!! :)

today marks the end of 2008.

2008 has been a wonderful year, with my share of ups and downs and some anti-social moments and sacrifices; a memorable year with lots of valuable lessons i've learnt throughout,  of which i cannot and would not trade for anything else. It was a fantastic and great year. and i'm happy. :)

Now, lets gladly welcome the new year - 2009: which i hope will be better than the last. a new chapter begins as we embark our journey into our uni life. a step closer to adulthood! 

For me, it'll be a year where dreams may come true (or not?). i will have to find that out for myself. 

For those still in college/pre-U, do your best and study hard! give it your all people!  

For those still waiting for results/entering Uni (like me), All the best and hope that everyone will enter their preferred course at the university of their choice. 

as always, we pray for the best, and let things fall nicely into place! :)

yesu! i have been back for a few days and i have been resting, RESTING and RESTING!!! MUAHAHAHA lalallalalala.

how nice it feels. to wake up and ask yourself: "okay, so what should i do today?" and a comforting reply: "i dunno. haven't decided." HAHAHHAHAAHA doesnt that sound so..... free?? HOHOHOHOH! it certainly does. HOHOHOHOHO!

and btw, i have managed to complete one manga series 'Tokyo Crazy Paradise' of 19 volumes in a day, plus rereading it twice and nice parts-4times. HOHOHOHO. Tokyo Crazy Paradise is written/drawn by the same artist as Skip Beat, Nakamura Yoshiki.

Let me tell you one thing. Tokyo Crazy Paradise is A MUST READ!!! OMg. i can't believe i only noticed it just few days ago. all these while i did come across it, and i read the summary a few times and i went, "oh yeah not bad.. will read it some day bla bla" but i never actually do. but ever since i've been crazy over skip beat, i decided to try out other works by Nakamura Yoshiki and wahla! .. and my personal review for this absolutely fantastic manga is: IT IS VERY VERY VERY GOOD!!!! :) i liked it better than Skip Beat, coz i prefer martial arts to show biz.. so yup.. definitely one good manga to recommend and it is complete.. as in.. the translations/scanlations are complete up to volume 19. It's sad to see that it is not licensed, coz i would reaaaallly wanna buy the english version. (eventhough it may coz ~rm30 per volume.. I would definitely splash on this one :)) so yup. right now, i'm praying that Vizmedia would hurry up and recognise this fabolous manga and license it then i'll be the first one to buy it! huahahahhaa!

Tokyo Crazy Paradise by Nakamura Yoshiki

It's the year 2020 AD, and Tokyo II is a city infested with crime. Women can no longer go out in the streets alone without being victimized. Not wanting their daughter to suffer the same fate, Tsukasa Kozuki's cop parents raise her as a boy. When they are suddenly killed by one of the yakuza's in-fights, Tsukasa is left orphaned on the streets along with her three brothers. With no other options, she goes to the only person she can think of for help: pokerface Ryuji Shirogami, her classmate of 8 years and also the head leader of the powerful yakuza group, Kuryugumi. Ryuji, whose father was also a victim of the same yakuza fight, agrees to take her on as his personal bodyguard. As they set out to find their enemy, Ryuji slaps an increasing amount of debt onto Tsukasa, using all manner of ploys to keep the reluctant Tsukasa by his side.

Sunday - 30th November 2008

daytime: i was spring cleaning my house like cleaning toilet, bathroom etc, which was one condition my mom had to allow my beloved 5 friends over for the night. finished everything and was ready by 5 smth and booked a room for 7.30. but then there was some delay *haha* and we only got to our room at 8... (the guangliang guy lookalike couldnt get us our booked room) and so we ate dinner and sang all the way till 11.45pm and reached home at exactly 12am 1Dec 2008. 

night's still early, so we all got changed and grabbed the box of mini-candles, and my lighter and headed outside our house and did our secret rendevous~ HAHAHHA. abit cold but those candles kept us warm. oh yes it did. LOL

LOL. that took us bout an hour and a half. the time was around 1.30am. then we went to cook popcorns and headed into the tv room for some shots of not-so-horror movies like grimm love (which featured some gay-cannibal-dark-crazy/fearless girl) and the nun (featuring some catholic school, nun, fat lady, water). wasnt so scary and we fast-forwarded lots of parts because the whole thing was moving too slowly and we grew impatient. sigh. angmoh horror movies are disappointing. =.= by the time we finished the nun it was already 4.18am and we went to sleep!

and then woke up bout 5.45am coz heard some sounds and was thinkin maybe it might be the nun. but wait.. there's no water? ahha . nah it was my bro and then i got up and went on laptop, realized that my long-awaited skip beat episode has been released, and thus the download button was activated. then at bout 6smth bro came back with a fren and me, mom and rach went to send him home. 

came back and we chilled around/ate breakfast/etc for awhile then we headed of to school for some errands to do and then sent ellie&deb&ying home and we went karaoke again! lol and then went home! uwargh super tired and slept from 8pm till the next day! lalalallaa

huahahahaha. and today... my macbook came! :) have already been hours on it and now my eyes hurt. HOHOHOHHO ~
