Graduation & Valediction - Year 12 ends

Yes. We have finally graduated. Congratulations! to the class of 2008!!!




last few days of school were really fun.. we had house farewells, our year 12 tradition to the beach, and on the last day of school -> the satirical assembly + morning YR12 only festival + our crying sessions + goodbyes.

After that --> headed off to city.. ate at takas' : oh the wonderful Katsudon.. and then our traditional drink : bubble tea and then off to get some neo prints to commemorate our last day!!! all 11 of us squashed into the photo booth. hahhaa. not to mention we all had a dose of some posionous gas. =.="


And finally the Valedictory dinner which is our official GRADUATION. first had our graduation ceremony at Hadley Hall (sorry no pics for this.. but that's where we collected our college gift frm principal.. + some beautiful voices from the choirs :P)

Gifts from the college : silver heart-shaped necklace with the animal logo on it + our year:2008, and also received our yr12 hat photo in a frame.. from our house, we got a yellow daisy + house photo + helium yellow balloon.. and got a teddybear from our tutor & i received a gingerbread man from ms Silberstein + lollies from ms Lydon. gosh im going off track here. hahaha

And that's what's been happening so far. will definitely get more pics from others.. coz i mostly took pictures from other ppl's cameras... especially those with the teachers....

Damn. never thought i'd be graduating so soon. Has barely sunk in and i feel like im in a dream. well most important things are always felt like dreams anyway. T.T

Though all in all... i feel really glad and happy that my parents had sent me to Australia ... and definitely grateful for putting me in MLC. Here, i have met many wonderful friends, many of those we've formed unbreakable bonds with... Many memories we have made and shared.. all these happy & fond memories.. will be remembered forever. i doubt i'll ever get a better highschool experience anywhere else. yes i used to doubt that but now im pretty confident and sure about that.

i'm gonna miss me&vic's VW and MelbuMonash pair.. i'm gonna miss me&mich's yuriyoona and yoobinsunye pair... i'm gonna miss stroking rach's ponytail during chem.. i'm gonna miss sitting & being crazy next to omi in chem.. i'm gonna miss playing around with wanyu (& getting picked on by ms Rudrum) in accounting.. i'm gonna miss our whole EALD class which is the only class with 100% asians (xcept for Ms Delena)... i'm gonna miss deb who is my only fellow friend in hbio...

damn. i'm gonna miss all our fun recess & lunch times where we (daygirls) steal food frm the boarding house all the time.. miss our times at the library where we pon class & esp. PE(at sumner) and wasting time during our free periods reading comics, checking out blogs & gossips.. i'll defintely miss our library group which consists of the daygirls & 1boarder(bev) .

in short, i'll miss EVERYTHING. and i'm so glad that i came here. i can say that my time here at MLC has been the most enjoyable so far, with lotsa fun activities and events plannes out.. especially for the Yr 12s.. esp the Satirical Assembly.. my gosh. Laughed like hell.. good job to Ms Haughton impersonator & Sorcha for playing Mr. Lee. :)

tears tears tears. sigh. lotsa tears. u walk round and see lotsa tears. head girl cries. house prefect cries. and everyone cries. yes i cried too. teared a lil during the leavers video esp during the part when the teachers were giving comments on us.. and haha. the least unexpected of me to cry 3 times during tha valedictory dinner. why? that's coz it finally sinks in. the fact that we won't be seeing each other again after TEE. we won't be able to have fun in school together anymore. we won't be able to be all together, as one, in one place anymore. everyone's going off somewhere, and we all separate, going our ways. some we'll nvr see again (unless during visits) coz they're off to a different country. some a different state. and i can't believe that all these very very good friends of mine, will suddenly be lost from my side. all the fun and laughter that we've had together... all of em... gone.

though yes, that said, we will definitely meet up. keep in touch, visits & etc. Omi! i'm definitely coming to spore to visit u k? so u btr be ready for my arrival! XD ..... haha. and yeah.. we can all go visit Melb & Sydney where most of us will be going. for me? not sure. maybe Taz, Melb(if im so lucky to get offered), Syd or UWA. still unsure. we'll definitely meet up and go to our Leavers. and yes, for the Malaysians, i might go find u guys in KL. hehhee.

sigh... still feeling a little sad... though thankful and happy at the same time. yes. this is what you called mixed feelings. hohoho.

well guess i gtg for now. coz it's gettin a lil late.
